Desire to consume digital technology but not necessarily be interested in getting a job in this area. This study seeks to find out how ICT could be made more appealing by schools in an effort to get more students to study ICT and consider it as a career choice.
I found this document really interesting as it found that teens are heavily involved in using technologies and love to have their mobile phones with them, yet are seemingly not interested in it as a career choice.
Definitely worth reading if you are a teacher who uses digital pedagogies and want to consider changing ICT attitudes of young people.
